DCE were appointed by Galfar Al Misnad to conduct a Traffic Impact Study (TIS) for a substation and multi-storey car park. The proposed development was envisaged to replace an existing substation in the area and also to help alleviate the parking problems in the area. A limited scope TIS was carried out for this project focusing on the development plan review, existing parking problems for the surrounding area and a traffic survey. A detailed development plan review process was carried out to check access width, parking layout, internal / external vehicle and pedestrian circulation, sight distance and road safety.
