DCE were appointed by RGCK to complete Traffic Impact Study for Phase 1A of Waad Al Shamal City Development which is located approximately 25km north east of Turaif in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The purpose of the report was to verify that the proposed road network within the development can accommodate the expected number of vehicles expected to be generated by the development, and if needed, recommend measures that are necessary to mitigate any adverse impacts. The analysis includes an estimation of site-generated vehicle trips and an operational analysis of the relevant junctions and links throughout.
The traffic study was produced to aid the review/approval process for the design of the proposed road network and junctions which were being developed as part of Phase 1A.
