This project involved the construction of 3 major interchanges at the Pearl, Onaiza and Al Wahda. Each of these locations consisted of multi-grade interchanges with tunnels and flyovers.

The majority of the permanent works were complete; however there were still some sections that were temporary in nature, with some works left to complete so the pre-opening audit (Stage 4) was carried out as part of a TDP.
